At the meeting, Bi Kexin, director of the Import and Export Food Safety Bureau of the General Administration of Customs, introduced that in order to prevent the risk of the introduction of new coronary pneumonia through imported cold chain food, the national customs carried out new crown virus surveillance on imported cold chain food. A total of 227,934 samples were monitored, including 43,964 product samples, 147,568 inner and outer packaging samples, and 36,402 environmental samples. Among the above samples, on July 3, Dalian Customs detected a new crown from three samples of frozen outer white shrimp produced by Ecuadorian enterprises from one sample sample mounted on the inner wall of the container of frozen South American white shrimp produced by Ecuadorian enterprises. Viral nucleic acid is positive. On the same day, Xiamen Customs tested positive for the new coronavirus nucleic acid from two samples of frozen South American white shrimp produced by Ecuadorian companies. The samples of frozen South American white prawns and the inner packaging samples of the above-mentioned enterprises were negative for the detection of the new crown virus nucleic acid, and all the other 227,928 samples were negative. For the positive samples, the nucleic acid sequence analysis and expert judgment revealed the test results. The container environment and the outer packaging of the goods of the three companies in Ecuador are contaminated by the new coronavirus.
